Renovation of a municipal facility in Des Plaines, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Sealed bids for the following: Des Plaines City Hall Electrical Rehabilitation Work under this Contract will generally include, but is not limited: o Provide temporary power such that use and occupancy of the building may continue uninterrupted during construction. Coordinate with utility as required. o Demolition: o Remove existing switchgear, panelboards, lighting panels, etc. as indicated. o Furnish and Install new switchgear and panelboards, lighting panels, etc. as indicated. Contractor shall install new switchgear in same location as existing switchgear. Contractor shall install new panelboards and lighting panels in same location as existing panelboards and lighting panels. Contractor shall pull new feeder conductors and reconnect existing loads. o Furnish and install conduit, conductors, etc as required. o Other work as described within the plans and specifications The Work shall be performed at the City of Des Plaines City Hall at 1420 Miner Street, Des Plaines Illinois. Questions and/or clarifications regarding this project should be directed in writing to Jose Chavez, at the office of the Engineer by email to j.chavez@trotter-inc.com and copy Johnny Zayed at J.zayed@trotter-inc.com. Clarifications requested by Bidders must be in writing and submitted in a timely manner.
