The scope includes: exterior abrasive blast cleaning to SSPC-SP6 commercial standard with containment and application of a four-coat zinc epoxy urethane fluoropolymer system; wet interior abrasive blast cleaning to SSPC-SP10 near-white metal standard with application of a three-coat zinc epoxy system and polyurethane caulk to the roof lap seams; removal of the mechanical mixer; foundation grout repair, abrasive blast cleaning, and application of a two-coat epoxy system. Bidders must carefully examine all bid documents, inspect the work site and surroundings, and familiarize themselves with local and concealed conditions affecting the contract. Bidders are responsible for all errors in their proposals. The specifications may reference various state and local codes and standards, including those from the Illinois Department of Transportation, SSRB, SSWS, MUTCD, and City Codes.
