The Village of Lomax is accepting bids for the mowing of certain Village properties for a single year contract. Responsibilities include mowing, weed-eating, picking up all trash, emptying trash cans, replacing trash bags, disposing of trash in Village-provided dumpsters, and picking up and disposing of tree branches and sticks at a location specified by the Village. The successful bidder will provide their own equipment and labor, and must carry liability insurance with a copy submitted to the Village before the first mowing. Properties to be mowed are: Village Hall, Village Ball Park, Village Park, the Village lot at the corner of Bonfield & Hwy 96, and the ditch line along Hwy 96 west of the Fire Station. The Village of Lomax reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
