The replacement of the water and sanitary sewer mains, including service connections, and related appurtenances followed by miscellaneous sidewalk, curb and gutter, and lane/driveway apron replacements, complete asphalt concrete pavement removal, excavation to design subgrade, cement stabilization of the subgrade, supply and placement of granular base course and hot mix asphalt concrete pavement, and boulevard leveling and landscaping. The 2026 Water and Sewer Replacement Program will be along the following: 50 Avenue between 55 Street and 57 Street The intent of the 2026 Water and Sewer Replacement Program will be to abandon in place the existing water and sanitary sewer mains which currently exist within the sidewalks/boulevards of 50 Avenue, followed by the installation of new water and sanitary sewer mains along the centerline of 50 Avenue. All service connections will be extended and connected to the new water and sanitary sewer mains. The proposed sanitary sewer will be installed at depths between five (5) and seven (7) metres. A portion of the existing concrete curb and gutter is to remain in place and replaced where necessary to complete the installation of the service connections and appurtenance abandonments.
