Reference Number 0000412821 The work to be performed under this contract includes construction of approximately 1,400 feet of new attached concrete sidewalk along Canyon Drive between Front Street and the Rock Park Trail connection near Sunset Court, completing a missing pedestrian connection adjacent to Rock Park. The work included in this contract generally consists of earthwork and grading, fence removal and reset, concrete flatwork including sidewalk and curb and gutter construction, curb ramp construction meeting ADA requirements, steel handrail construction, erosion and sediment control installation and maintenance, and construction zone traffic control. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, traffic control, and incidentals necessary to complete the work in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents. This is a completion date contract. Notice to Proceed is anticipated to be April 27, 2026. The Contractor shall complete the work by May 29, 2026 and submit for final payment by July 1, 2026. The project is funded by federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) monies, which will require compliance with applicable federal requirements contained within the Special Conditions of the Contract documents provided herein and generally consists of Davis-Bacon wages with certified payrolls, as well as Buy America Build America (BABA) requirements.
