**As of March 30, 2026, the project was awarded to Garrett Paving, with an awarded amount of $126,440.30.** Sealed bids are requested for roadway shoulder repair and rehabilitation on Hillsboro Road, from the Town limits at the Hillsboro Road/Jefferson Road intersection to Hwy 186, for the Town of North High Shoals, GA. The scope includes edge milling, shoulder rehabilitation, and repaving of shoulders with 2 feet of additional width per lane. Work must cover both shoulders of both lanes, and include traffic control, utility locates, equipment, materials, labor, base materials, a minimum of 4 inches of 19mm hot mix asphalt, and repainting of white lines to the existing layout. Any disturbance to speed tables must be repaired or replaced in kind, as well as dirt and dirt placement/grading, and hydroseeding upon completion. Bids must include a Contractor Affidavit as required under O.C.G.A. 13-10-91 with a valid E-Verify ID #. Late bids will not be considered.
