The Township of Severn’s Public Works department seeks to hire a contractor to supply equipment and labour for winter sand street sweeping within the Township of Severn. The project involves cleaning approximately 130 kilometers of two lane roads annually to remove winter sand and debris. Disposal of the swept materials will be managed using Township-provided and operated dump trucks, or designated disposal areas provided within reasonable distance of the roads being swept. Water required for sweeping operations will be supplied by the Township. This contract is for one year, with primary sweeping scheduled for spring or early summer, and minor follow-up "call back" work as required. Bid submissions must be made online.
