The Township of Severn's Public Works Department is seeking tenders from prequalified contractors to complete the Westshore Wastewater Treatment Plant Optimization project in the Westshore community. This project will ensure the Westshore Wastewater Treatment Plant continues to produce high quality effluent. Severn is seeking a successful project from a Contractor with experience delivering complex construction in operational wastewater facilities, including live tie-ins, multidisciplinary coordination, strong safety performance, risk management, schedule control, and quality workmanship. Westshore WWTP is located at 3333 New Brailey Line, Severn, Ontario. Township of Severn is seeking prequalified Contractors to participate in a Request for Tender (RFT) for the optimization of the Westshore Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). The RFT is the second-step procurement process for prequalified contractors of RFPQ F18_2026-011. The RFT sets out the step-by-step process and conditions that apply. Only those Respondents who were prequalified through the RFPQ were eligible to participate in the second-stage RFT. It is important that prequalified contractors have demonstrated experience delivering complex construction in operational wastewater facilities, including live tie-ins, multidisciplinary coordination, strong safety performance, risk management, schedule control, and quality workmanship. Severn intends the work to be substantially complete by March 2028. Construction duration is estimated at approximately 18-22 months from award to substantial performance.
