Sealed proposals will be received for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the following project: CUY-BAGLEY ROAD (CR-27) RESURFACE EXISTING ROADWAY FROM 225 FT EAST OF LINDBERGH BLVD TO BEECH ST IN THE CITY OF BEREA, OHIO, PID No. 122648, FAN E251(088). Question Deadline 03/12/2026 at 10:00 AM ET Should a question arise at any time during the examination of Bid Documents or investigation of the site the Bidder may seek clarification by submitting a Prebid Question The Cuyahoga County Department of Public Works will respond to all questions submitted before a deadline of 10:00 A.M. four working days prior to the public opening of Bids Report No. 23-25 Proposals must be in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared by the Cuyahoga County Department of Public Works. Only ODOT pre-qualified contractors are eligible to submit bids. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The project must be completed no later than August 6, 2027. Contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 is required. Bidders are encouraged to register in the Infor Supplier Portal. Prior to signing a contract with the County, contractors must be registered with the Cuyahoga County Inspector General. Each Bidder shall include a bid guaranty with every Proposal, per Ohio Revised Code (ORC) Section 153.54, which must be either a bid bond for the full amount (100%) of the Bid, or a certified check, cashier's check, or irrevocable letter of credit for ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid. If a bid bond is submitted, it must automatically increase to a 100% Performance and Payment Bond. In addition to the County, the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) shall be named as an obligee in the Bidder's Performance and Payment Bond. Bidders shall comply with wage rates determined by the Secretary of Labor in accordance with Federal-Aid requirements. Cuyahoga County reserves the right and discretion to reject any bid or proposal for any reason, or all bids or proposals for no reason at all, without incurring any liability.
