Site work and paving for a road / highway in Andover, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Bids for the construction of Founders Parkway at Andover Road to Sunflower Lane will be received. Bid documents and plans are to only be obtained from the City’s Bid Management software – Virtual Bid. Bids will be accepted only from Contractors registered with Virtual Bid. Failure to “Add Bid to Company” prior to bid submittal will result in the rejection of the bid. The bids will be received from invited Contractors or other Contractors who meet the City of Andover’s “Prerequisites for Bidding.” The bidding requirements and contract documents consist of the complete Plan Set (sheets 1-158) and the Project Manual, which contains the Invitation to Bid, Bidder Qualification, Information for Bidders, Instruction to Bidders, Bid Form, Bid Bond, Notice of Award, Agreement, Notice to Proceed, Performance Bond, Payment Bond, Statutory Bond, General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, Construction Specifications, and Special Provisions. Requirements for bidders and contractors are explained in the specifications.
