Sealed bids are invited for furnishing exclusive refuse collection, curbside recycling, and disposal services, including a once-a-year citywide clean-up for residential households in the City of Geneva, Ohio. Bids must be submitted on provided forms, include the full name and address of every person or company interested, state whether the bidder is an individual, partnership, or corporation, and be accompanied by a bid bond or certified/bank cashier's check for $3,500 payable to the City of Geneva as a guarantee. Bids must be in opaque, sealed envelopes clearly marked with the bid proposal and bidder’s name and address. No bid may be withdrawn for thirty days post-opening. The City reserves rights to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, request more information, or accept any bid in the City's best interest. Bid bonds and checks will be returned after the contract is awarded and executed.
