The project consists of new streetscape curb and sidewalk, paver buffer belt, new ADA ramp construction, new street trees, new Decorative LED streetlights, and ancillary site improvements along Broadway (from approximately 350 ft east from Prospect Avenue to Campbell Avenue) as shown on the Contract Documents. Bids must be made on Standard Proposal Forms as designated and required by the Specifications, enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside, addressed to the Borough Clerk. Bids must be accompanied by a non-collusion affidavit, a certified check or bid bond for not less than ten (10%) percent of the amount bid (not more than $20,000, nor less than $500), and a consent of surety from a surety company authorized to transact business in New Jersey in a sum equal to one hundred (100%) percent of the amount bid. Signatures must be in ink and in longhand. Bids should be either mailed directly or hand delivered to the Municipal Clerk. Bidders must comply with N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., N.J.A.C. 17:27 regarding Affirmative Action, Executive Order 11246 regarding Equal Opportunity, the Local Public Contracts Law NJSA 40A:11-1 et. seq., and all applicable rules and regulations. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
