**As of January,21,2026 the project was awarded to but the awarded amount is not available.** Contractor shall saw cut and remove and dispose of 2 C.F. of asphalt down to existing concrete subgrade (approximately 2'x2' by 6" deep) at each proposed canopy post as shown on the attached plans, at approximately 36 locations. If missing concrete is discovered, the District and its representative must be contacted immediately. After canopies are installed by others, the contractor will return and fill voids with new asphalt, tamped to the existing parking lot level at about 62 locations. The contractor will cordon off the work area and remove existing sidewalk as indicated. A new 6" concrete driveway apron and new 4" concrete sidewalk to transition from the new apron and existing sidewalk will be installed, also infilling any adjacent empty tree well. Existing concrete steps are to be repaired, cleaned, bonded, and parged, including protecting handrails, grinding all exposed surfaces, pressure washing, priming exposed rebar, repairing cracks and pinning if needed, applying bonding agent and parging mortar, and providing a non-slip broom finish. The contractor is responsible for all details necessary to complete the project, including equipment submittals for approval, field verification of conditions, all incidental work (dust control, cleaning, restoration), documentation of existing field conditions, removal of excess materials and debris, and coordinating work involving utilities. Quantities are approximate, payment is based on quote total unless scope substantially changes. Storage of construction materials or equipment on site requires approval. All quotes must be submitted using the enclosed form and must include all items needed to complete the work. The owner reserves the right to award all or any items of work based on available funding.
