The work involves the 2025 Renovation Project, Phase 1 - Bus Lift Replacement, with bids invited for General Construction, Plumbing, and Electrical work. Bids must be submitted in duplicate and will be received by the Owner at the specified location until the deadline and opened publicly shortly thereafter. Bidding/Contract Documents are available for examination at designated locations and can be obtained electronically or in paper form for a specified fee. A deposit is required for paper sets, with refund procedures detailed for various types of bidders. The Owner reserves the right to waive informality or reject any or all bids. Each bidder must provide bid security as specified in the Bidding/Contract Documents. Bids may be withdrawn as outlined in the Instructions to Bidders. The project must be completed by the date set forth in Section 011100 Summary of Work, article 1.5 "Project Schedule." A pre-bid meeting will be held, and site inspection opportunities are available upon notice. Requests for information must be made in writing to the designated contacts and will be addressed via addenda as necessary. Addenda responsibilities fall to the bidders, who must ensure accurate contact information and timely download of documents. Deposit checks for Bidding/Contract Documents shall be made payable to Adirondack Central School District. Cash will not be accepted as a deposit.
