The City of Lawrence, Kansas is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide engineering services associated with Project Number MS1-00038, 6th & Kasold Tower Maintenance and Coatings. The consultant will evaluate the existing conditions of the tank, design rehabilitation construction documents, and provide construction phase services. The City is seeking a qualified Engineering Consultant for the evaluation of an existing 0.5 million gallon elevated storage tank located at 3708 W 6th Street as well as the development of associated construction documents for the tank’s rehabilitation. Respondents are to review the attachments available as part of this solicitation for historical project plans and inspections. Access to the site is provided off of Kasold Rd via an access drive on the east side of Fire Station No. 3. Interested vendors are encouraged to attend the on-site pre-proposal meeting to review conditions and ask questions of relevant parties.
