The work generally consists of furnishing and installing approximately 250 linear feet of 16-inch ductile iron pipe dual siphon system (500 linear feet in total piping) through the embankment of the Southern Pines Water Works Dam. Question Deadline 03/19/2026 at 5:00 PM ET All questions related to this project must be received by the Engineer in writing . Questions received after this time may not be answered. Bidders must submit a cashier's check, certified check, or acceptable bidder's bond with their Bid as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract for the Project with the Owner. The security must be payable to Owner in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid submitted. Contractor must execute the Contract, bonds and certificates of insurance on the forms provided in the Contract Documents. Performance, Payment, and Maintenance Bonds are required. With request for the Bidding Documents supply the following information: Company name, contact person, street address, and phone and fax numbers for Bidding office; NC contractor's license with limitation and classification; indicate if the firm will be a Bidder, Supplier or Sub-Contractor. The Owner reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous interpretation of the Bids submitted in the case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating bid prices, to reject any or all Bids, and/or waive formalities. Incomplete or qualified bids will not be accepted. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after scheduled bid opening.
