Renovation of a stadium in Gadsden, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a stadium.
Sealed proposals from qualified general contractors will be received for Football Stadium Lighting Renovations at West End High School and Sardis High School. Performance and Payment Bonds and evidence of insurance as required in the bid documents must be provided at the signing of the Contract. Only approved general contractors, pursuant to prequalification procedures, are eligible to bid. Bidders must be licensed under Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama, 1975, and must show evidence of license on the outside of the sealed envelope containing the proposal. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if deemed in the Owner's best interest. Pre-qualification requirements: Only general contractors who have been approved to bid pursuant to prequalification procedures will be eligible. Prequalification requests must be submitted on the AIA A305 Contractor's Qualification Statement. All bidders bidding in amounts exceeding that established by the State Licensing Board for General Contractors must be licensed as required by Alabama law.
