The Houston Independent School District is seeking proposals from qualified individuals and/or organizations for the procurement of select goods and/or services related to the maintenance, inspection, and repairs of elevators and wheelchair lifts. Only Approved Vendors who meet all pre-determined criteria through a formal procurement process will be eligible for contract award. Vendors are required to respond to the solicitation and submit all required information and documentation. After evaluation and verification of compliance with liability insurance requirements and the Minority/Women Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) Program, recommended Vendors may be awarded a contract by the Board of Education. The tentative project term is from June 12, 2026, through June 11, 2027, with four automatic annual renewals, not to extend beyond June 11, 2031. HISD may elect to extend the project for up to ninety days for business continuity if needed. All questions related to the solicitation process or scope should be submitted via the electronic bidding portal by the specified deadline. Answers will be posted as an Addendum in the portal. Vendors interested in the pre-proposal conference must RSVP as instructed.
