Description

Renovation of a municipal facility in Madeira Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The successful bidder shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and services necessary to complete the project, including but not limited to: design coordination and shop drawings; furnishing and installation of one outdoor elevator, including elevator cab, rails, doors, controls, and operating equipment; outdoor-rated hoist way or enclosure (if applicable); call stations, indicators, and safety devices; removal and disposal of old elevator; structural coordination with existing building conditions; electrical work, including power supply connections; compliance with ADA, FBC, ASME A17.1, and all applicable local, state, and federal codes; testing, inspection, and certification; training of City personnel (if required); warranty and close-out documentation; and any work not specifically mentioned but required for complete and operational installation. The elevator must have two stops/landings, be outdoor-rated and suitable for a coastal/marine environment, use corrosion-resistant materials and finishes, be ADA-compliant, have battery lowering or emergency power capability, home landing on the 2nd floor, weather-resistant doors and fixtures, vandal-resistant features, and a maintenance plan for at least 5 years. Final specifications are subject to City review and approval.
