Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Lagrange, Georgia. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The City of LaGrange (Owner) is soliciting Proposals from qualified contractors to provide the Work associated with the pre-construction services of the New Service Center Facility as well as opportunity to provide a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) proposal for construction associated with this project at a later date. The Project consists of the following major elements: pre-construction consultation and construction of a new Service Center for their utility departments that will be located on Client Owned property that will be approximately 13-acres. The new service center will support four existing departments within the City of LaGrange: Water, Sewer, Gas and Electric departments and will also include inventory. The new Service Center will include new admin/customer service building, warehouse building, pole barns, vehicle and equipment storage areas, inventory yards for water, sewer, gas and electric departments, parking for staff and visitors, site work (clearing, grading, drainage, utilities, and paving). The successful Proposer will not be required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds for PreConstruction Services Contract. Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) Contract amount at the time of GMP Contract Agreement for Construction execution.
