Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Ephrata, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
This project consists of excavation for constructing a concrete pad, HMA parking area, and supports for a future structure to cover a sports complex. All bids shall be received before the opening time in sealed envelopes with SPORTS COMPLEX PAVEMENT PROJECT marked plainly thereon. All bids must be accompanied by a deposit in the form of a postal money order, cashier's check, or bond equal to 5 percent of the maximum total amount of the bid. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract or furnish a satisfactory contract bond within the time stated in the specifications, the deposit will be forfeited to the City. Plan and specifications may be obtained at no cost via electronic transmission from the City of Ephrata or as paper copies for a non-refundable fee. All bidders shall call 509-754-4601 prior to bid opening to sign up as a bidder on the project. Bids received from bidders not signed in as a bidder on the project will be rejected for being non-responsive. The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids if such action is in the best interest of the City. No oral interpretations will be made to any bidder as to the meaning ofthe specifications and drawings. Interpretations, ifmade, shall be written in the form of an addendum and sent to all bidders to whom the specifications have been issued.
