The Project includes the following Work: . Benjamin Street: Removal of portion of the existing surfacing and granular base. Installation of new granular base, pavement, and other associated work. . 9 th and Yellowstone: Removal of existing gravel surfacing, granular base and curb & gutter, grading; installation of granular base, curb & gutter, pavement, and other associated work. Construction services in South Dakota are subject to tax under SDCL 10-46A. Contractors shall include the applicable tax in their bid price for each item of work. Tax questions should be directed to the South Dakota Department of Revenue at 800-829-9188. Bid shall be submitted on the prescribed form. The submittal of the Bid will constitute an incontrovertible representation by Bidder that the Bidder has examined carefully the bidding documents, visited the site, is familiar with the local conditions under which the work is to be performed, and correlated bidder's observation with the requirements of the bidding documents. Each bid must be accompanied by Bid Security as specified in the bidding documents. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice of Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. The City of Fort Pierre reserves the right to retain the bid security of the three lowest bidders for a period not to exceed 30 days after the date and time set for opening of the bids.
