The scope of work consists of the construction of a Propex Scourlok bank stabilization system and additional bank stabilization measures along the eastern bank of Stewart Creek Tributary 1 to provide for erosion and scour protection, specifically for the area North of the Turner Street, and East of the Turner Soccer Complex. The work includes, but is not limited to, mobilization, general site preparation, channel bank grading, installation of Propex Scourlok bank stabilization system, rock riprap, grade control structures, storm water pollution prevention plan measures and any other work deemed necessary by the City of The Colony. All of the above shall be done in accordance with TxDOT and NCTCOG specifications with the City of the Colony's Addenda and as per instructions of the City of The Colony City Engineer. All construction sequencing and barricading will be done according to the City of The Colony Standards. Bidders must submit Proof of Insurance and a Bid Bond in the amount of five percent of the bid amount. Originals must be submitted in the bid packet or received by the Purchasing Manager before the bid opening. All documents must be submitted with the bid package and filled out completely by the bidders.
