The project consists of renovating an existing former elementary school building located at 4431 Augusta Street in The Colony, Texas, and adding a new gymnasium building to create a new municipal community recreation center. The final scope of work will be based on the final Drawings and Specifications prepared by the Architect. Work may include, but is not limited to: site clearing, excavation, fill and backfill, site utilities, concrete sidewalks, curbs, gutters and paving, grading, top soil and seeding, landscaping and irrigation, fencing, concrete piers, slab-on-grade, masonry walls, structural steel, roof purlins and joists, metal roof panels, metal stairways, guardrails and handrails, miscellaneous metal fabrications, carpentry, millwork, wood and metal doors and frames, overhead sectional doors, glass and glazing, damp proofing, waterproofing and new roofing, caulking and sealants, thermal insulation, flashing and sheet glazing, carpets, resilient flooring and base, metal studs and support systems, gypsum drywall and acoustical ceilings, painting, signage, metal louvers and specialties, fire protection, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical (including site electrical), telecommunications, and other requirements set forth in the Contract Documents. The final scope of work will be determined by the Architect's final documents.
