Work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, services, supervision, and incidentals necessary to construct onsite and offsite improvements to restore property acquired for the relocation of utilities and to facilitate the construction of improvements included in the BART Extension Project Phase II (BSVII). A paved storage area will be constructed on the A&F (Slackey Brothers) property (1480 Nicora Avenue, San Jose). The Therma (1577 Las Plumas Avenue, San Jose) property will include, but is not limited to, a surface parking lot, bio retention basin, fencing, and electrical. Offsite improvements include, but are not limited to, streetlights along the frontage of the property in CSJ right of way, bioretention basins, irrigation, and sidewalk. Construction activities at the Therma property must be performed first. Bids must be submitted electronically through VTA's OpenGov portal. A true copy of certified check, cashier's check or bidder's bond is required. Prevailing wage requirements apply. Pre-Qualification of all prospective Bidders is required. Bidders must comply with required licenses and health orders. All requests for clarification or questions must be submitted to the designated Contract Administrator or through the VTA eProcurement website. Bidders may not communicate with other VTA representatives unless permitted. Bids received after the specified date and time will be rejected as nonresponsive. VTA reserves the right to issue addenda, cancel the procurement, reject any and all Bids, waive informality, or eliminate nonresponsive Bidders. The Engineer's Estimate for this Work ranges from $2,800,000 to $3,800,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
