The intent is to obtain bid submittals from interested and qualified bidders to provide generator maintenance and repair services for portable and stationary generators used by multiple County divisions. The awarded vendor will be responsible for performing work on various generators of different manufacturers, sizes, and horsepower to ensure continued operation, address future growth, and increase asset lifespan. The list of current generators is for reference only and may be changed by the County at any time. The project will be awarded based on the lowest total bid per group (Group 1 – Portable Generators, Group 2 – Stationary Generators) and the best value to the County. All line items in the bid schedule must be completed to be considered responsive, and the County may award one or more bidders in each group, or establish a pool of vendors. Prices must remain firm for the initial contract term, and refer to the relevant section for information on price increases. Historically, County department spending on these services is approximately $1,500,000 annually, but this may not indicate future spending patterns.
