Herbicide services are required to support vegetation management at the Gathright Dam and Lake Moomaw project in Covington, Virginia. Work includes providing all personnel, equipment, materials, and expertise necessary to perform herbicide spraying in accordance with the highest industry standards. The contractor must possess a valid herbicide license and must utilize USDA bio-preferred herbicide products. All designated herbicide areas shall be thoroughly sprayed in May, followed by additional spray applications in June, July, August, and September. Weather permitting, each monthly application shall occur within the first ten days of the month. Services will be performed under a firm-fixed-price contract consisting of one base year with four option years. Location: Gathright Dam and Lake Moomaw, Covington, Virginia. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
