Site work for a pipeline in Omaha, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a pipeline.
Sealed proposals are requested for the furnishing of all labor, materials, use of contractor's equipment, plant and other necessary items to construct all improvements related to THE HILL POWER DUCT - SECTION 5. The work includes, but is not limited to, mobilization, trench excavation and backfill, furnishing and installing various sizes and types of PVC conduit and accessories for primary and secondary cable, installing communication line ducts (with material supplied by others), directional boring, installation of transformer box pads, service pedestals, ground rods, pull ropes, and tracer wire. All work must be completed in strict accordance with the drawings and specifications prepared by the engineer and filed with the Clerk of the District. Bids must be submitted on the proposal form provided, accompanied by a certified check or bid bond for $24,000 as evidence of good faith. The successful bidder must enter into a contract within ten days after Notice of Award and provide a performance bond equal to 100% of the total bid price. Bidders cannot withdraw their proposal for thirty days after the bid opening. Only those listed on the official plan holders list may submit a bid. The District reserves the right to waive formalities and reject any or all bids. All costs for obtaining documents are the bidder's responsibility and are non-refundable.
