Renovation of an educational facility in China Grove, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Submit questions to REI Engineers, Inc. in writing to the Project Manager's email address listed above no later than 5:00 PM at 3rd March 2026. This work includes the provision of labor, material, equipment, supervision and administration to integrate the work outlined in these specifications into the total building system such that no leakage into the system occurs. In general, the scope of work in the Base Bid includes: 1. Exterior Wall Restoration: Partial a. Remove and dispose of existing storefront system including flashings and accessories. Provide concrete patches at existing slab as necessary to achieve a flat and flush condition. b. Remove and dispose of approximately 200 SF of Asbestos Containing flooring and flooring adhesive in a safe and legal manner. Provide Vinyl Composite Tile (VCT) floor system and accessories. c. Provide insulated, metal stud framed wall along with interior and exterior gypsum sheathing. d. Provide Fluid-Applied Air Barrier Membrane along with accessories. Refer to Section 07 27 26. e. Provide drainable Stucco System. Refer to Section 09 24 00 Portland Cement Plaster. f. Provide Aluminum Framed Storefront System. Refer to Section 08 41 13. g. Provide metal wall panel underlayment and metal wall panels to clad wall areas where indicated in the Contract Drawings. Refer to Section 07 42 13. h. Provide interior finishes to include trim and paint. i. Provide elastomeric joint sealants where indicated in Contract Drawings.
