Reference Number 0000413050 Replacement of controls for an HVAC system consisting of one RTU and 16 electric reheat VAVs. See project documents for additional information. It is the intent of the City of Black Hawk ("City") to enter into a contract ("Contract") with a qualified, professional HVAC controls contractor ("Contractor") to provide pre-construction and construction services necessary to complete construction of the Public Works Facility HVAC Controls Replacement Project ("Project"). The Scope of Work to be provided by the Contractor shall include assistance to the City during the process of pre-construction, construction, and the one-year warranty period. Specific tasks to be performed by the Contractor include those generally performed by professional HVAC controls contractors. The main HVAC controls system installed in 2012 at the Black Hawk Public Works Facility at 987 Miners Road is failing. The City is seeking a Contractor to replace HVAC controls as further described below. A partial set of mechanical plans from 2012 and a photo of one VAV nameplate are included herein and referenced below. Construction Completion Date: Spring, 2026 A formal Pre-Bid Conference will not be held for the Public Works Facility HVAC Replacement Project. However, prospective bidders are invited to visit the Public Works Facility at their leisure during regular business hours to evaluate the existing HVAC system prior to submitting a Bid. Buyer Preferences, Guidelines & Requirements General Requirements - Insurance Required Bonding will not be required for the Public Works Facility HVAC Replacement Project. Bid security is not required for the Public Works Facility HVAC Replacement Project.
