Renovation of a swimming pool in Bremen, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a swimming pool.
Sealed proposals are requested for the Fairfield County CDBG Village of Bremen - Community Pool Improvements Project. Bids must be submitted with either a bid bond in the amount of 100% of the bid or a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit for not less than 10% of the bid amount. Attention is called to requirements including Federal Labor Standards Provisions, Davis-Bacon Wages, various insurance requirements, and equal opportunity provisions. This contract is subject to Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968. Contractors should be aware of regulations and reporting requirements associated with Section 3. No bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty days after the opening date. The Fairfield County Commissioners reserve the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids. The engineer's cost estimate without contingencies is $43,000.
