Renovation of a municipal facility in Bluefield, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Town of Bluefield, Virginia is soliciting sealed, priced proposals from qualified and licensed environmental remediation professionals for Brownfields remediation services. The work includes the abatement of lead-based paint, asbestos-containing materials, and mold remediation at two historic properties owned by the Town of Bluefield: 501 Virginia Avenue (lead, asbestos, & mold) and 542 Virginia Avenue (lead & asbestos). The project consists of remediation, abatement, disposal, and clearance verification activities necessary to address hazardous materials associated with Brownfields redevelopment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. All applicants must be licensed and authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Virginia and must demonstrate documented experience and technical competence in lead and asbestos abatement and mold remediation. Work should be started within 30 days of the award and completed within two months of the start date. Plan Holders List not maintained.
