The project generally consists of replacing two (2) gas fired boilers with incidental piping and exhaust flue work. The Contract will be awarded on a lump sum basis. Bid security is required to be submitted with each Bid in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid. Bid security may be in the form of a certified check or a Bid Bond secured by a surety company. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount will be required on this project. The Contractor shall also provide Liability Insurance coverage for the value of this contract. If a contract is seven thousand five hundred dollars ($7,500) or more but less than one hundred twenty thousand dollars ($120,000), the bidder is required to show evidence of being licensed as a "Class B Contractor."
