Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Bluefield, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
As of March 7,2024, project was awarded to Dominion Driveway and Parking Lot Paving, Inc., but awarded amount is not available. The Tazewell County School Board reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to negotiate with any respondent to the RFP, if deemed to be in the best interest of the school division Bidders are required to provide a copy of their contractors license with their bid response Remove and replace existing asphalt pavements with new pavement sections. Extend the current parking lot to the sidewalk using the existing grade of the parking area. See attached drawings. Install bollards along sidewalk where it is in line with the parking, and where the parking spots are perpendicular to each other. Establish the location of pavement markings and applying pavement markings for parking space lines, traffic control, fire lane and accessible spaces.
