Renovation of a detention facility in Bluefield, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
Pocahontas State Correctional Center Sewage Screen Replacement. Procedures for submitting a bid, claiming an error, withdrawal of bids and other pertinent information are contained in the Instructions to Bidders, which is part of the Invitation for Bids. Withdrawal due to error in bid shall be permitted in accord with Section 9 of the Instructions to Bidders and 2.2-4330, Code of Virginia. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Site admittance will require that each participant have a valid ID and security clearance approval. Security Clearance Instructions and Forms are included in Part 1- Bidding Requirements of the Specification booklet and can be obtained by contacting April Helbert at April.Helbert@vadoc.virginia.gov. Site Access Rules and Regulations: 1) Valid ID required; 2) No electronic devices; 3) No blue jeans or orange clothing; 4) All parties who plan to attend the pre-bid must have a security clearance approval from the facility prior to admittance.
