Demolition and new construction of a transportation facility in Lexington, Oregon. Completed plans call for the demolition of a transportation facility.

The scope of work consists of the demolition of the existing PAPI system and the installation of a new PAPI system. Instructions to bidders include: - Submit the required first-tier subcontractor disclosure form within two working hours of the bid closing time. Late submissions will be considered non-responsive. - Contractors must be qualified according to the applicable parts of ORS 279C and able to demonstrate prior experience with similar work. - Qualification statements must be submitted in accordance with Subsection 20-02 of the specifications with the proposal. Proposals without qualification statements will not be accepted. - Bidders must be registered with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board or licensed by the State Landscape Contractors Board as required by ORS 671.530. - Each bid must contain a statement that the bidder will comply with ORS 279C.838 or 279C.840. - The project is subject to federal requirements, including Buy American Preferences, Foreign Trade Restrictions, Prevailing Wage Rates, Affirmative Action Requirements, Debarment and Suspension Provisions, and Requirements for Drug-free Workplace. - All labor must be paid no less than the minimum wage rates established by the US Secretary of Labor (Davis Bacon) or the State of Oregon (BOLI), whichever is greater. - Each bidder must complete, sign, and furnish with their bid a "Certification of Nonsegregated Facilities" and a "Bidders Statement on Previous Contracts Subject to EEO Clause." - Contractors and subcontractors with 50 or more employees and awarded $50,000 or more must maintain an affirmative action program. - Proposals must be submitted on prescribed forms and accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid amount. - The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and payment bond, each equal to the full contract price. - Morrow County Public Works reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities, and to accept the bid deemed in its best interest. Bids not in compliance with public bidding procedures and requirements may be rejected.
