Sealed bids are invited for road improvements including the supply of 15,000 gallons of MC 3000 and 3,000 gallons of MC 70 (quantities approximate). The bid must include pricing for hauling stone from a local gravel pit to various township roads, spreading, and rolling the stone. Spreading must be performed with a self-propelled chip spreader capable of reaching at least 18 feet in one pass and rolled with a rubber tire roller. Bidders are required to state the maximum spreading width of their chip spreader. All materials must comply with state specifications. The bid must cover all necessary certificates (liability and accident), insurance, and labor at prevailing wage rates. Lake Township Trustees reserve the right to reject any or all bids and to determine the lowest and best bid. Envelopes should be marked "Oil Bid."
