Demolition, renovation and addition to a municipal facility in Machesney Park, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 5,400-square-foot, one-story above grade, one-story below grade municipal facility.

The work generally consists of additions and alterations to the existing administration building, construction of a new barn, and demolition of an existing barn, including all labor, materials, equipment, and services required for a General Contract (all trades). Bidders must be properly licensed to perform the work. Each bid shall be accompanied by bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance, Labor and Material Payment Bonds and Insurance as required by the Contract Documents. This Contract is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). Contractors and subcontractors shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities, and to accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the District.
