The project provides for the demolition of existing siding, concrete decking, metal roof, and interior restroom area. It includes repairing water damage and installing new insulation, sheetrock, and restroom fixtures. The contractor shall install new siding, trim, paint, batten seam metal roof, and a new PMMA liner in gutters. The work also involves evaluating and cleaning the existing storm drainage to see if minor upgrades can be proposed, along with any other incidentals necessary to complete the specified work in accordance with the Contract Plans, Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. All work performed will be subject to Washington State prevailing wage rates. Sealed bids must be submitted electronically through Virtual Bid. All contractors must be licensed in the State of Washington to conduct business. It is the bidder's responsibility to learn of addenda, if any, which may be obtained via Virtual Bid. The City Council reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, accept the bid deemed in the best interest of the City, waive any informalities, and delay the award of the bid. Bid bonds or securities in an amount equal to at least 5% of the total bid price shall accompany all bids. Bids from small, minority, and women-owned firms are encouraged. The successful bidder must comply with all applicable provisions of the "WSDOT Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction" 2026 Edition.
