Demolition for a communication facility in Pensacola, Florida. Completed plans call for the demolition of a communication facility.
Pensacola State College requests proposals from qualified proposers for the complete decommissioning of a 417-foot, guyed broadcast tower at 1295 W. Fairfield Drive, Pensacola, Florida. The work includes decommissioning the tower, disposal of tower and wire materials, decommissioning one building and slab with disposal of debris, removal of anchors to 3 feet below grade and disposal of debris, dust, debris, and noise mitigation, accounting for scrapped or recycled metals, securing all applicable permits, and retrieving and returning the Ubiquiti 5G Dish Antenna and Data line to the College. Proposals may be submitted for the base work, one or more alternates, or all alternates. Bidders are not required to submit on the base scope to be eligible for alternates. Pensacola State College may award to a single or multiple contractors as deemed in the College's best interest. Attendance at a mandatory site visit is required for a proposal to be considered responsive.
