Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Noblesville, Indiana. Working plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
*As of April 21, 2026 all submitted quotes were rejected and no plan rebidding at this time* The purpose of this contract is for modular block wall and pedestrian handrail repairs at Bridge No. 191 carrying Olio Road over Geist Reservoir. Work shall be performed in accordance with the Special Provisions, and any incidental work necessary shall be included in the unit price for other pay items. The following work items are required as part of the lump sum bid: Remove damaged pedestrian railing and foundations; install any necessary temporary shoring to protect the fill supporting the sidewalk and roadway; remove backfill behind the modular block wall that impedes any necessary repair work; remove and reset or replace all damaged or shifted modular blocks; install new backfill behind the reconstructed modular block wall; remove temporary shoring; install new pedestrian handrail and foundations. All quotes should indicate unit prices for each item and use the sheet provided by the Hamilton County Highway Department. Contractors should visit the site and become fully acquainted with the conditions and requirements prior to quoting the project. Contractors must provide and pay for all materials, tools, equipment, labor, and all other services and facilities necessary for performance and completion of the contract.
