The project will be bid Lump Sum and includes the following major items: clear and grub vegetation, tree removal, sediment removal and dredging, existing utility and lift station demolition, providing upgrades for electrical power, controls and communications, providing cast in place concrete foundation and pad, storm sewer piping, storm sewer forcemain, providing new lift station, demonstration testing, commissioning and acceptance testing, and site restoration, landscaping, vegetation establishment. For this project, only online electronic bids through QuestCDN will be accepted. Instructions for online bidding are included in the Project Specifications. For electronic bids, bid bonds will be accepted through Surety2000 using contract #10022455. The bid bonds must be payable to the City of Edina in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of bid, to be forfeited as liquidated damages if the bid is accepted and the bidder fails to promptly enter into a written contract and furnish the required bond.
