Site work for a civil project in Desert Hot Springs, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Construct Reservoirs 4711-3 and 4711-4, two new reservoirs with 1.0 MG in capacity each, aboveground welded steel tanks and demolish the existing Reservoirs 4711-1 and 4711-2 with 100,000 gallon in capacity each including site clearing and grading, earthwork, over-excavation, reservoirs foundation, berm & riprap, retaining wall, piping, coating and painting, electrical, solar panels, batteries, and seismic equipment box bracing, instrumentation systems, cathodic protection systems, new site fencing including Desert Tortoise Exclusion fencing, and all necessary and related appurtenances complete, in place, and operational as shown in the Contract Drawings. Funding for this project has been provided in part form the Water Quality, Supply, and Infrastructure Improvement Act of 2014 and through a Grant Agreement with the State Department of Water Resources. The Contractor shall comply and implement all standard and basic conditions and requirements of the State Department of Water Resources including a signage posted in a prominent location at the Project site and shall include the Department of Water Resources color logo. The State also shall have the right to access the Project site and inspect the work being performed at all reasonable times, including work performed by subcontractors. In addition, The State shall be provided written notice for events or proposed changes that could affect the scope of work, schedule or term, and budget and the State has given written approval for such change prior to proceeding with the change of work.
