The work under this contract includes replacing various widths and types of pavement marking lines and symbols at various locations, removal of existing pavement markings, grooving for recessed pavement markings, installation of new pavement markings, and maintenance of traffic. The services are to be performed systemwide in Cook County, DuPage County, Lake County, Kane County, Boone County, McHenry County, Lee County, Will County, DeKalb County, Ogle County, Whiteside County, and Winnebago County, Illinois. Bidders may be required to be pre-qualified by the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), and joint ventures are limited to no more than three individually IDOT pre-qualified members. Bidders must be registered or provide evidence of application with the Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR). All bids must be on prescribed forms and comply with contract terms and conditions. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty of five percent of the total bid amount, in an acceptable form. Copies of plans, special provisions, bid forms, and other contract documents are available from BHFX Digital Imaging. The Illinois Tollway reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive technicalities, or cancel the solicitation. As per ITB, Questions pertaining to the intent of the contract documents may be sent to the Illinois Tollway, attention 4864D.9311_Questions@docs.e-builder.net, to be received no later than 2:00 p.m. local time on March 5, 2026. The work to be done under this contract shall be started on or about June 15, 2026. All work under this contract shall be completed by May 1, 2027
