Site work and paving for a road / highway in Bedford Park, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The work consists of widening and pavement reconstruction, construction of a median retaining wall, Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) infrastructure, drainage improvements, temporary and permanent lighting, pavement marking and signing, erosion control and landscaping, maintenance of traffic, and other miscellaneous work on the Tri-State Tollway (I-294) between Mile Post 32.4 and Mile Post 33.6 in Cook County, Illinois. Bidders may be required to be pre-qualified by the Illinois Department of Transportation, and joint ventures are limited to no more than three individually IDOT pre-qualified members. Bidders must be registered, or provide evidence of application, with the Illinois Department of Human Rights. Bids must be submitted electronically via BidBuy and comply with the terms and conditions in the contract documents. Each bid must include a Bid Guaranty of five percent of the total bid amount. Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The Tollway reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive technicalities, or cancel the solicitation.
