Site work for a water / sewer project in Sauget, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The proposed construction consists of sanitary/storm sewer rehabilitation using cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) for approximately 390 lineal feet of 24" diameter vitrified clay sewer pipe, including all associated work. The project also requires a video-taped inspection of the 390 lineal feet of 24" diameter pipe. Additional items and estimated quantities to be included are specified in the bid proposal. The federal prevailing rate of wages (Davis Bacon Act) must be paid throughout the project scope. A goal is established for not less than fifteen percent (15%) of the total contract amount to be expended with a Minority Business Enterprise(s) through services, supplies, or subcontracts. Instructions indicate that bid documents may be obtained for a non-refundable payment or digitally at no cost by contacting the specified group and filling out a request form. Electronic and paper bids must be submitted to the Village of Sauget by the stated deadline.
