Demolition, site work and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel.
Sealed written bids are invited for the replacement of an existing bridge on Poverty Point Road (T-643) in Wilmington Township. Bids must be submitted on forms provided by Frank B. Taylor Engineering, which can be obtained from their office at 149 Taylor Drive, New Castle, PA 16101. A certified check or bid bond equal to 10% of the bid amount, payable to Wilmington Township, must accompany each bid. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked 'POVERTY POINT ROAD (T-643) BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT' and delivered or mailed to the Wilmington Township Municipal Building at 669 Wilson Mill Road, New Castle, PA 16105. Wilmington Township reserves the right to accept any bid deemed in the best interest of the taxpayer, as well as waive any informalities or irregularities or reject any or all bids. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates apply to this project.
