IL DOT - Channel Excavation, Erosion Control Blanket - Big Mound Road This project consists of replacement of the existing three span (30'-11 1/4 ", 31'-8", and 30'-11 1/4 ") precast prestressed concrete deck beam bridge with the three span (32'-10", 33'-6", and 32'-10") precast prestressed concrete deck beam on spill-thru abutments, with ditch works and approach roadway works. In-stream work includes removing the existing bridge, constructing the proposed bridge and placement of scour protection countermeasures at the abutments/wingwall slopes. Improvement to the roadway includes reconstruction of the approach pavement and grading improvements to the roadside ditches. Location Southwest Quarter of Section 30, Township 42 North, Range 1 East of 3rd P.M.
