Architectural and engineering services are required on an 'as and when required' basis to support projects such as new buildings, building additions, building renovations, office fit-ups for accommodation, laboratories, ammunition storage facilities, storage facilities and workshops, offices, training buildings, kitchens and messes, gymnasiums, recreational complexes, and armouries. Additional services include mechanical and heating system upgrades, ventilation and air conditioning including fire suppression systems, electrical systems including connections for communication, security systems and access controls, instrumentation and controls, feasibility studies, structures, demolition and construction, and upgrading of parking lots, municipal services, and site work. Services may include preparation of statement of requirement or construction requirement options analysis, preparation of concept design development, preparation of construction documents or performance specifications, tender phase services, and construction phase services. To be eligible for contract award, proponents must actively hold or obtain all required security clearance(s) prior to the date of the award, with the anticipated security clearance level being Facility Security Clearance (FSC) at the level of SECRET.
