Site work for a bridge / tunnel in North Vancouver, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
To review, remove and replace the fire detection system within the Cassiar Tunnel (02950). Provide a detailed design, construction cost estimate, tender documents, and general engineering services during construction for this project. The design scope includes but is not limited to: Conditions Survey and Assessment; Direct Digital Control (DDC) Upgrade and Integration; Fire Life Safety Systems; Fire Detection and Alarm Subsystem; In-tunnel Emergency Communication Subsystem; Fixed Water-Based Fire Fighting Subsystem; Mechanical Ventilation Subsystem; Carbon Monoxide (CO) Detection Subsystem; Emergency Wayfinding Indication and Signage; Electrical Control System (SCADA) Design and Integration to existing Ministry Ignition platform for Life Safety System; Electrical, Communication and Network design supporting the above scope elements. Lane Control, Video, Local Operation Centre (LOC), and Lighting are excluded from the scope of this assignment.
